Book Talk in Los Angeles

I’ll be speaking on my memoir anthology “Coming of Age in a Hardscrabble World,” just out from University of Georgia Press, at the Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural and Bookstore in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 6 p.m. Tia’s Chucha’s was created by the great Luis J. Rodriguez, poet and author of “Always Running,” one of the books featured in “Hardscrabble.” Everyone within the sound of my voice is cordially invited. It’s at 13197 Gladstone Avenue, Sylmar, Calif. (which, as I found out, is in the San Fernando Valley).
